How to arrive in private vehicle from the main directions

The Best Western Hotel Carlos V is located in the old quarter of Madrid. We are located on pedestrian street with limited access to private traffic, but it is allowed to drop off and pick up passengers and luggage.

To get to the Hotel follow the signs to the city centre as far as Plaza de España, take calle Bailén and continue until you reach calle Mayor, turn left and continue on calle Mayor as far as calle Bordadores. Continue along calle Bordadores, cross calle Arenal (Pedestrianised), and go along calle San Martín, turn right onto Plaza de Las Descalzas, where you will see the shop Corte Inglés opposite. Finally turn left onto calle del Maestro Victoria, number 5 (this last part is pedestrianised)

How to arrive by public transport from airport:

By metro and train:

In the airport take Metro LINE 8 (pink) as far as the station NUEVOS MINISTERIOS. Then you need to take the train (RENFE/ Cercanías) and then any of the lines C3, C4A or C4B to the station SOL. On exiting you need to go towards calle Preciados and walk along it until you reach the third street which is Maestro Victoria, and turn left where you will see the sign for the Best Western Carlos V.

By metro:

In the airport take Metro LINE 8 (pink) as far as the station NUEVOS MINISTERIOS. Then you need to change onto LINE 10 (dark blue) as far as the station TRIBUNAL, finally change to LINE 1 (light blue) as far as the station SOL. On exiting you must go towards calle Preciados and walk along it until you reach the third street which is Maestro Victoria, and turn left where you will see the sign for the Best Western Carlos V.
